Hi, I'm Ian.

I'm a software developer based in Sacramento specializing in modern web application architecture and user-focused design. I hold a B.S. in Informatics with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction from the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine (Class of 2022).

With over four years of industry experience, I've helped build and modernize complex web applications by designing systems from scratch, extending enterprise platforms, improving performance, and maintaining large legacy codebases. My core expertise includes modern Angular, AngularJS migrations, TypeScript, REST APIs, React, Node.js, and relational databases.

I've also been working with digital design software since age 11 — long before studying software development. That early foundation in visual design and usability now shapes how I build software and allows me to bridge UI design and engineering to create intuitive, maintainable systems.
